"Dr. Rahulkumar Chavan is wellknown cancer surgeon in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai after extensive training in cancer surgery from prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai he completed M.Ch. Super specialisation degree in Surgical Oncology (cancer surgery under Homi Bhabha National Institute). With his merit he has completed all his education from popular Government institutes of the country. He completed MBBS from Govt Medical College Dhule & M.S. (General Surgery) - from renowned institute IPGMER (Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research / SSKM Hospital) Kolkata under west Bengal University of Health Sciences. He has published several papers in national & international journals & also presented scientific papers & posters in national conferences. He was awarded 1st prize for poster at ASICON2010 for his work on breast cancer surgery. He has also worked in breast cancer unit of IPGMER Kolkata for 3 years and got trained in oncoplastic breast surgery.
Presently he is working as a consultant surgical Oncologist at Fortis Hospital Vashi Navi Mumbai.
